OSMANİYE - Sick prisoner Sabri Kaya who did not accept the imposition of being counted standing up was beaten by the guards and dragged on the floor.
The guards who came to the wards to count the prisoners in Osmaniye No 2 Type T Closed Prison on August 8, forced the prisoners to stand up during the count, and beaten and dragged those who opposed. One of those prisoners was Sabri Kaya who has a heart condition.
Kaya who shared the violations of rights they have been through with his family on the phone, said: "The guards forced us to stand up during the count. They hit us with batons, kicked and slapped us. They dragged us on the floor and tortured us. I lost consciousness at the time. I have a cronic heart condition and they tortured me and my friends in spite of that."
