NEWS CENTER - Evaluating the assassinations against civilians in the Federated Kurdistan Region, Journalist Letif Fatîh Ferac said, "The KDP has been trying to turn these places into battlefields for a long time with its spying and gang activities."

 

Continuing its attacks against Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions in partnership with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Turkey targets civilians from the military bases it has established in the region. Kurdish politician Zeki Çelebi, who was attacked in Sulaymaniyah on May 17, was murdered. 5 people lost their lives in Turkey's attack on Çemçemal district of Sulaymaniyah on May 21. On the same day, one person was killed in an drone attack on a vehicle in Makhmur Camp.

 

TURKEY'S POLICY IS TO INTIMIDATE THE KURDS

 

Evaluating the assassinations and attacks against civilians in the region with the support of the KDP, Journalist and writer Letif Fatîh Ferac said: "Turkey deliberately targeted civilians. Many people, from Yasin Bulut (Şükrü Serhat) to Zeki Çelebi, were murdered by the MIT (National Intelligence Organization) and the gangs affiliated with it. They are doing this to intimidate the Kurds. The security forces in Sulaymaniyah should be questioned regarding Çelebi's death. Someone in the security forces may have relations with the MİT. It is not normal for someone to be killed in Sulaymaniyah and their killer to flee to Hewler. Süleymaniye Public Security is responsible for the murder of revolutionary Kurds. The Sulaymaniyah regional administration needs to investigate. It is necessary to find out whether the Sulaymaniyah security forces have an involvement in the murders."

 

'TURKEY'S AIM IS  TO DESTROY THE GAINS OF THE KURDS'

 

Expressing that the KDP is trying to spy on the Kurds, Ferac said: "The KDP government is under the influence of enemies of the Kurds and is targeting revolutionary Kurds from Bakur. For a long time, the KDP has been trying to turn these places into battlefields with its spying and gang activities and want to turn every place into a pool of blood.”

 

Drawing attention to Turkey's attacks on Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions in cooperation with the KDP, Ferac said: "Turkey wants to invade the region by using chemical weapons in many places in the region. Turkey's only aim is to destroy the Kurds by destroying all the gains of the Kurds. Turkey is using its accomplices in these attacks. In these attacks carried out by Turkey, international powers like America, NATO and Europe remain unresponsive because they are also accomplices in these attacks. The silence of the Iraqi government is an indication that it is a accomplice in these attacks. These forces need to react to the attacks and prevent them."
