ANKARA - Prosecutor Ahmet Altun, who prepared the Kobanê Case indictment, was appointed as Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor.
According to the judicial decree announced by the First Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK), the places of duty of 5,426 judges and prosecutors have changed. According to the decree, 33 new chief prosecutors were appointed, including Eskişehir, Bursa, Antalya, Konya, Kocaeli and Kayseri, while the places of duty of 351 local court members were changed.
PROMOTION TO KOBANE CASE PROSECUTOR
Among the prosecutors whose positions have changed is Ankara Public Prosecutor Ahmet Altun, who prepared the Kobanê Case indictment. Altun was promoted by the HSK decree and became Ankara Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor.
GEZİ TRIAL JUDGE DEMOTED FOR HIS COUNTER-STATEMENT IN GEZİ TRAIAL
Kürşad Bektaş, who was the only judge who gave a dissenting opinion in the Gezi Trial, was exiled from Istanbul to Tokat.
