URFA - Prisoner Mehmet Yılmaz, being held in Urfa Type E Closed Prison, died under suspicious circumstances.

 

25-year-old prisoner named Mehmet Yılmaz, who was held in a Closed Prison in the Eyyübiye district of Urfa, lost his under suspicious circumstances. In the incident that took place yesterday, it was alleged that Yılmaz committed suicide while he was alone in the bathroom. After the other prisoners realised the situation and informed the guards, the medical teams that arrived found that Yılmaz had passed away.

 

After the investigations at the scene, Yılmaz's body was taken to the morgue of the Urfa Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK).
