DİYARBAKIR - Emel Hacıoğlu, a ordinary prisoner in Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison, died under suspicious circumstances.

 

It was stated that the prisoner Emel Hacıoğlu (35), who was held in Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison, died under suspicious circumstances. The death of Hacıoğlu, who was arrested 5 years ago and has been sentenced to 18 years due to drugs, was heard when the doctors from Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital informed the family.

 

Stating that her sister Hacıoğlu was called by her ward friends last week and was informed that her sister was ill with an asthma attack and was being treated, Hacıoğlu's older sister Evin Olgun said: "The doctors from Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital called today and said that my sister passed away".

 

It was stated that Hacıoğlu was transferred to Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison 2 years ago from Mardin Prison.
