URFA- Ferit Şenyaşar said: "The authorities and the chief prosecutor are entering and leaving behind the courthouse in order to ignore just the struggle of the Şenyaşar family."
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 714. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.
Speaking at the sit-in held in front of the courthouse, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "We have a just cause. Police, prosecutors and officials in the Ministry of Justice all accept that we are right in this case. But when we say 'The law should be implemented', no steps are taken. Prosecutors are left helpless and the law does not work. From time to time, some officials from Ankara come to the courthouse. These officials and the attorney general are entering and exiting from the back of the courthouse in order to ignore the struggle of the Şenyaşar family. This is cruelty, injustice. We want this injustice to be corrected as soon as possible. We will continue to fight here until justice will be served.”
