ANKARA - Stating that they would apply again to leave the decision on the closure case until after the election, HDP Co-Chair Mithat Sancar said: "It is unacceptable to let voters experience such uncertainty."

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Sancar answered İlker Karagöz's questions in the Alarm Clock program on Fox TV. Stating that they will apply again to leave the decision on the closure case until after the election, Sancar said that the closure case against the HDP should not be discussed during the election process.

 

Sancar said: "It is unacceptable to let voters experience such uncertainty, we will evaluate it with our lawyers after the YSK announces the election calendar, and we will make our application without prolonging the process."

 

Sancar, regarding the "Ministry of HDP" debate, said: "We do not have such an expectation, we see even being drawn into this discussion as an invalid maneuver."

 

WHEN WILL HDP MEET WITH KILIÇDAROĞLU?

 

Stating that there has not been an appointment request for HDP yet by the Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairperson and Presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Sancar said: "When Kılıçdaroğlu meets with us, we will talk about the concrete road map and then we will evaluate the decision on whether to nominate a candidate with our authorized organizations and our alliance."
