In the letter he wrote, Yusuf Erkek stated that they were faced with systematic violations in Afyon Prison, where he had been for 3 years, Erkek said: There is no cultural, social or sporting activities organized in the prison. It is constantly raided by the guards. It's like they're coming to plunder and provoke. Our ward turns into a battlefield under the name of partial search. The torture we were subjected to at the time of the raid is recorded on the camera in the ward. We were subjected to disciplinary investigation for shouting the slogan 'Human dignity will defeat torture'. Our demands are humanitarian demands. The second director of the prison said to another prisoner, "We know how to approach people like people, and terrorists like terrorists." Despite everything, we are in favor of a solution. We will persist in our demands."
