Drawing attention to the elections to be held on May 14, Kışanak said in her message: "This is you, we will carry the meaning of Newroz to the election on May 14 by establishing the largest democratic alliance of our people. We will strengthen our feelings of solidarity against our people who suffered great pain in the earthquake disaster, and we will heal our wounds together. We will hold the account of great suffering, injustice, death and oppression at the ballot box. As female political prisoners in Kandıra Prison, we will unite our resistance with your resistance, we will light the fire of Newroz with you. We are in the squares with you, with our hearts and consciousness. Iron doors and wire organizations mean nothing to us, and they will not mean nothing in the future. We greet you with the belief that we will pull the freedom dance together. We celebrate the Newroz of our people."
