URFA - Continuing the sit-in on its 732th day, the Şenyaşar family said: “When the immunity ends, the prison gate will be opened”.
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 732. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.
On the second day of Ramadan, the family came to the courthouse from their house in Pirsûs(Suruç) district of Urfa and started their sit-in in front of the banner "Justice for the Şenyaşar family". The Şenyaşar family shared the message on their Twitter accounts: "Suruç State Hospital has repeatedly submitted a parliamentary research proposal to shed light on the massacre. The proposal was rejected by AKP-MHP votes. The newly formed government and parliament will shed light on this event. When the immunity ends, the prison gate will be opened”.
