A VISIT TO THE GRAVE OF EMİNİ

The grave of Kurdish woman Jîna Eminî in the Ayçi Cemetery in the city of Seqiz was visited by the relatives of those who demanded freedom and those who lost their lives in the rebellion. PROTEST AGAINST THE COMPULSORY HEADSCARF

Despite all the pressures of the Iranian regime on the compulsory headscarf issue, the number of women walking around without a headscarf in public spaces is increasing day by day. Many women took their photos without a headscarf at the Newroz celebrations and shared them on their digital media accounts in response to the compulsory headscarf.

The draft law prepared by some parties in the Iranian parliament to expand the scope of the compulsory headscarf was also protested. The draft law envisages fines of 500,000 to 3 billion divisions to women who violate the bans.

Iranian journalist Mohammad Aqazade posted a message on the subject on his Twitter account, “What kind of picture do you present in your own government? While the cost of taking the life of a person is 900 million divisions, you punish the appearance of a few hairs of women as 3 billion divisions.
