MARDİN - The condolences of the father of 8 children, Lokman Görgün, and HPG's Musa Kahraman, who were killed in the Omerîya region on suspicion of execution, were visited. Hundreds of people marched with the slogan "Bimre ixanet(No treachery)" after condolences.
A condolence visit was made to the families of Lokman Görgün (53) and his nephew from HPG, Musa Kahraman (Xebatkar/Çiyager), who were killed by the soldiers on the grounds that they were "PKK members" in the Cinata rural neighborhood in the Omeriya (Ömeryan) region of Mardin. The mass, including HDP, DBP, Green Left Party representatives and HDP ex-deputy Gülser Yıldırım, expressed condolences in the rural neighborhood of Cinata, under the leadership of the Assistance, Solidarity, Unity and Culture Association (MEBYA-DER). Görgün and Kahraman's relatives and village residents greeted the audience at the entrance of the village with the slogans "Martyrs are immortal". After the welcome at the village entrance, the mass marched towards the condolence house.
The women gathered at the entrance of the condolence house, accompanied by zılgıts, greeted the crowd, who also chanted slogans in favor of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan during the march. A moment of silence was held in memory of those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom and democracy, in condolences where slogans and zılgıts were shouted frequently.
Speaking after the moment of silence at the condolence house, HDP Provincial Co-Chair Mehmet Ali Yiğit said: "We commemorate all those who lost their lives in the freedom struggle. We will protect the struggle for freedom and humanity. We will not let the flag raised by those who lost their lives in the freedom struggle fall to the ground, we see this as a debt to themselves.
