NEWS CENTER - Iraqi Minister of Immigration and Immigrant, Ivan Faik, announced that a budget has been allocated for the reconstruction of Shengal and the return of migrants.
Iraqi Minister of Immigration and Immigration Ivan Faik stated that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani has allocated a budget for the reconstruction of Shengal and the return of migrants.
Ivan Faik said: “The Prime Minister has set aside 50 billion dinars for the reconstruction of Shengal and the return of migrants. The return of immigrants to their regions is related to the Kurdistan Region Government."
Minister Ivan Faik noted that there are 40 thousand refugees in the camps in the Federated Kurdistan Region and Mosul, and that there are no refugee camps in any province of Iraq except the center of Mosul.
Faik emphasized that the issue of returning refugees is related to the decisions to be taken by the Federal Kurdistan Region government and the rebuilding of Shengal.
KDP CLOSES CAMPS TO INSPECTION
Stating that his ministry has nothing to do with the management of the camps in the Federated Kurdistan Region, Minister Faik said that they only support the camps and provide supplies. Minister Faik had previously announced that the Yazidi camps under the control of the KDP were closed to inspections and that the KDP had prevented the Yazidis from returning.
