MARDİN - Business owners in Beyazsu, which was flooded after the heavy rain that had been effective in Nisêbîn in the past days, are trying to save their belongings.
After the heavy rain on April 12 and 13 in the Nisêbîn (Nusaybin) district of Mardin, businesses in the tourism center Beyazsu were flooded. After the water receded, businesses that were found to be covered in mud and pollution became unusable. Although days have passed, the business owners in Beyazsu, which still cannot be cleaned, are trying to save their own materials on their own.
Noting that there is not enough cleaning work done in the enterprises, the owners noted that the authorities are not aware of what is happening in the region. The owners of the workplaces, who stated that the municipality teams were inadequate, stated that they were almost left to their fate.
Noting that village guards were sent from Midyat district instead of the cleaning team, and Nusaybin Municipality came to the region with a limited team, the business owners said: "There is a huge damage here."
The business owners stated that they should start their activities quickly with the start of the tourism season and asked the authorities to do their part.
