The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 776. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.
Since the courthouse was closed for the weekend, mother Emine Şenyaşar was on the sit-in at her home in Pirsûs(Suruç), while Ferit Şenyaşar went to the streets for election campaigns.
The family shared the following message on their Twitter account: "It's been 776 days. Justice was not served. We want justice. Change is a must for justice. Urfa is ready for change”.
