Feridun Çelik, the former Mayor of Amed(Diyarbakır), was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison. After the file was overturned by the court of appeal due to incomplete examination, the hearing, which started again at the Diyarbakır 6th High Criminal Court, was not attended by Çelik, while his lawyers Sinan Tanrıkulu and Devrim Barış Baran were present.
At the hearing, the prosecution repeated its opinion in the previous hearing asking for imprisonment. Çelik's lawyer, Sinan Tanrıkulu, stated that his client was not included in the Permanent Assembly Coordination, Law and Human Rights Commission and Diplomacy Commission as alleged, that his own statements were in this direction, and that his name was not mentioned in the lists seized during the searches conducted at the DTK building. Touching upon the allegation of the secret witness who testified about his client that his client transferred 7 trillion dollars to the KCK between 1999 and 2004, when he was the mayor of Diyarbakır, Tanrıkulu said that the KCK had not been established yet, that the KCK was founded in 2005, and that the total budget of the municipality at that time was 7 trillion. noted that it was not. Stating that there was a court decision that the testimony of the secret witness in the file should not be respected, and that he was excluded from the Witness Protection Program, Tanrıkulu demanded the acquittal of his client.

After the defense, the court sentenced Çelik to 6 years and 3 months in prison on the charge of "being a member of a terrorist organization". The court decided to re-implement the judicial measure control, which it had previously decided to abolish against Çelik.
