URFA - Continuing the sit-in, Ferit Şenyaşar stated that if the new Minister of Justice does not fulfill his responsibility, they will hang their banners with the words "justice" in the Parliament.
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 805.The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who came out of their house in Pirsûs and came to the front of the Urfa Courthouse, started to watch in the area called "Şenyaşar Family Justice Corner". The family, who hung a banner with the inscription "Justice for the Şenyaşar family" on the concrete barriers in front of the courthouse, gave information to the citizens who went to the courthouse about what happened.
'WE WILL HANG THE BANNER IN THE PARLIAMENT'
Şenyaşar, who wanted the ongoing trial regarding the massacre to be concluded, said: “Now everyone should do their duty. All the facts are out there. Hospital footage is said to have been stolen. We know that the images exist and are in the state archives. Anyone who prevents the truth from coming out is complicit in this crime. If the new Minister of Justice does not do what is necessary, we will hang the banner that we hung here with my mother in the Parliament in Ankara. We will also hang it on the door of the ministry. Justice delayed is justice denied."
