DİYARBAKIR - The court decided to reject the case against Parlak, insisting that journalist Ferhat Parlak was dismissed by the Court of Appeal.
The hearing of the trial in which journalist Ferhat Parlak was tried on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization" due to the news of the action he followed during the curfew period in 2015 and the statements of secret witnesses was held at the 11th High Criminal Court of Diyarbakır.
Journalist Parlak attended the retrial, which was held after the Court of Appeal overturned the dismissal of the case. In his defense, Parlak said that his trial was repetitive and that the statements of secret witnesses were not reasonable. In the statement given by the secret witness, Parlak reminded the result of the investigation report that followed the warrant written to the Silvan TEM branch regarding the allegations of "throwing Molotov" and said: "There was no such event at that time, let alone throwing Molotov at the alleged date. I do not accept the accusations, I demand my acquittal.
THE COURT REPEATS ITS OLD DECISION
Recalling that Parlak was tried in the same case before and the decision was made in terms of "rejection of the case", the court decided to reject the case once again.
