Indictments of journalists Gök and Oruç sent to court

DİYARBAKIR - The indictments of imprisoned journalists Abdurrahman Gök and Mehmet Şah Oruç have been sent to the court.
 
Mezopotamya Agency (MA) Editor Abdurrahman Gök, JINNEWS Correspondent Beritan Canözer, and journalists Mehmet Şah Oruç, Mikail Barut and Remzi Akkaya, who were detained on April 25 in house raids as part of an investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were arrested on April 27 for alleged "being a member of a terrorist organization".
 
The indictment of imprisoned JINNEWS reporter Beritan Canözer was accepted by the Diyarbakır 10th High Criminal Court today and it was decided to release him.
 
THE INJECTIONS OF GÖK AND ORUÇ SUBMITTED TO THE COURT
 
An indictment was also prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the imprisoned MA editor Abdurrahman Gök and journalist Mehmet Şah Oruç. Journalist Mehmet Şah Oruç's indictment is submitted to the Diyarbakır 4th High Criminal Court; Journalist Abdurrahman Gök's indictment was sent to the 5th High Criminal Court.
 
ASSESSMENT
 
The two courts are expected to accept the indictments and evaluate the detention of journalists Gök and Oruç.
