MÊRDÎN - Ramazan Cırık, who was prevented from entering the his own land in the middle of the shooting range belonging to the Special Operations Directorate in Mêrdîn, was sentenced to 18 days in prison on the allegation of "threat".

Ramazan Cırık, who lives in the Mensurîye (Yalımköy) District in the Artuklu district center of Mêrdîn, cannot enter the land he inherited from his elders. The reason for this is that the treasury lands in the surrounding area were transferred to the Special Operations Directorate as a shooting range area. Cırık, who was blocked every time he wanted to enter the land, was sued upon the complaint of former Mardin Special Operations Director R.D., with whom he had an argument because he wanted to enter the land, and was sentenced to 18 days in prison.

HIS LAND WAS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF SPECIAL OPERATIONS

According to the information obtained; The treasury lands around the land where Cırık's family lived and where only historical ruins remain today were allocated to the Mardin Provincial Police Department in 2006 for the purpose of "ensuring the security of the shooting range". The land with plot number 957 on 13 sheets belonging to the Cırık family was left in the middle of the area specified as the shooting area with the allocation of the land. While Ramazan Cırık was unable to enter the land in the middle of the shooting area, where his family's historical house was located, after a while, he built a house in the form of a barrack on a part of the treasury land outside the title deed land in the name of his brother Mehmet Cırık, and moved his animals and agricultural materials there.

CITIZEN CANNOT ENTER HIS OWN LAND

The Cırık family, who continued to live in this area despite it being risky until 2021, was no longer allowed to enter the land on the grounds that their huts were located in the area allocated to the Special Operations Directorate. The Cırık family, who could not go to their land because the road used to enter their registered land passed through the land transferred to the Special Operations Directorate, was unable to take care of their animals and trees. In 2021, Artuklu Municipality made a decision to demolish the hut built by the Cırık family, and the Cırık family took the situation to court because they could not reach their registered land.

CITIZEN WAS GIVEN A PRISON SENTENCE

While the court was continuing, Ramazan Cırık, who wanted to go to his land, was prevented every time, and on November 4, 2022, he asked the Special Operations Director of the period, R.D., for permission to enter his land. He wanted to meet with. Following the argument that took place during the meeting, R.D. filed a complaint against Ramazan Cırık, claiming that he "threatened" him in his office. In the lawsuit filed upon the complaint, Ramazan Cırık was sentenced to 18 days in prison by the Mardin 1st Criminal Court of First Instance, based on R.D. 's statements and the testimony of a police officer.

CITIZEN WANTED THE ROAD TO BE OPENED

Explaining what happened to him, Ramazan Cırık stated that he and his family have been miserable for a year because of the Special Operations Directorate and said: “We cannot come to our garden. It was left alone. My trees are dry. My vineyards and orchards have dried up. I went to the Special Operations Director and when I said 'For God's sake', the director answered me by saying 'Where is God?'. My trees were dry and they only had olives and could not collect them. I support 6 families with the products I obtained from my land. Today I have to live only with a pension of 7 thousand 500 TL. What should we do, should we go to the mountains(PKK)? - Shall we go begging or stealing?."

'SPECIAL FORCES KILLED ANIMALS'

Addressing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Cırık asked for a way to be opened for him and said: “The special operations director is chasing me here, he does not let me come to the garden. What is my crime? My animals were killed and burned by special forces and I faced insults every time I wanted to enter the land, and said that I tried hard but could not get results."
