ANKARA - Convening after the lawsuit to ban HDP, HDP Central Executive Board discussed their options in case of the closure of the party and decided to work more on 'organizing' and the third path.

 

The Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), which convened urgently after the Supreme Court Chief Public Prosecutor Bekir Şahin filed a closure case against the party has ended. 

 

WILL FOCUS MORE ON ORGANIZING

 

According to the information obtained, focusing more on organizing and political, social and legal struggle was the main topic on their agenda.

 

EVERY OPTION IS ON THE TABLE

 

Discussions were held over multiple options, including other party formulas. The strategy used in the 2019 local elections that focuses on winning in Kurdistan and making AKP-MHP lose in the west was back on the agenda. 

 

THIRD PATH

 

At the meeting, instead of directing its voters to the closest opposition party, the idea of ​​pursuing a third alternative to the existing opposition and the ruling party prevailed.

 

HDP will also start public consultation meetings and gatherings against the closure case. The HDP, which will initiate a mobilization to organize everywhere, which aims to get out of this ordeal by growing even more.
