Criminal complaint against police hitting child with armored vehicle

HAKKARİ - A criminal complaint was filed against a police officer who injured a child by hitting him with an armored vehicle in Yüksekova.
 
On April 1, 12-year-old Nihat Şerzan Akdoğan was hit by an armored police vehicle in Yüksekova district of Hakkari, and his leg was broken.
 
While Akdoğan's treatment continued at home, his family filed a criminal complaint against the armored vehicle driver, the police. Akdoğan's father, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Yüksekova District Co-Chair Abdulkerim Akdoğan, along with Attorney Yusuf Çobanoğlu, a member of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD), applied to the Yüksekova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
