ADANA/ MALATYA - Within the scope of the investigation carried out by Adana Public Prosecutor's Office police raided the house of a teenager in the morning.
The raid was carried out in the neighborhood of Selahattin Eyyubi, in the district of Yüreğir. Books and digital materials were confiscated.
Ferhat Sezgin was taken into custody after the search and was taken to Adana Provincial Security Directorate. Speaking to the Mesopotamia Agency, Sezgin's family said that the police battered family members and insulted them.
Malatya
During house raids carried out in the morning in Malatya, the former provincial chairman of the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) Ayşe Işık, Pir Sultan Abdal Cultural Association (PSKD) executives Sayime Tuncel, Hatice Zengin, HDP deputy candidate Betül Kurnaz Kılıç and HDP members Gule Doğan, Reyhan Bakır and Hatun Aydın were taken into custody.
The grounds for detention were not disclosed.
