Pointing to the developments regarding the solution of the Kurdish issue, DEM Party Istanbul Provincial Co-Chair Arife Çınar stated that an “extraordinary process” is taking place and stressed: “Even the Parliament going on holiday is a problematic situation.”
Pointing to Abdullah Öcalan's call and the PKK's congress, Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş said, "Turkey's Grand National Assembly has a duty from now on."

Gulistan Kilic Kocyigit, a member of the DEM Party delegation that met with Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunc, said: “We stated that the conditions of Mr Öcalan are the most important issue and that these conditions must be corrected without any buts and buts.”
