NEWS CENTER - Relatives of prisoners sentenced to death in Iran held a protes in front of Evin Prison and demanded a halt to the verdicts.
A large number of activists and families of prisoners sentenced to death in Iran within the scope of the "No Death Penalty Campaign on Tuesdays" gathered in front of Evin Prison. The group demanded a halt to the death sentences here.
Among those who came together in front of the prison were human rights activists Nergiz Mohammadi, Jafar Penahi, Hesti Emiri, Aresh Sadiqi, Kamiz Nurozi, Shiqayiq Muradi, Arya Shahi and Hossein Rezak.
Prisoners in Iranian and Rojhilat prisons go on hunger strike every Tuesday against death sentences.
