VAN- Kader Peker is imprisoned in Elazığ Women's Closed Prison and she got beaten by the guards on the ground that she objected the limitation of spending time in the prison yard.
Mother Maşallah Peker explained how her imprisoned daughter Kader Peker was beaten up by the male guards of Elazığ Women's Closed Prison as her daughter told ther what heppened during their weekly phone call. According to the Mother Peker's statement the time limitation for the prisoners to spend time in the yards was between 12:00-18:00 in the afternoon, but this was limited even more and when her daughter objected to narrowing down of the yard time, she was attacked by the male guards.
Mother Peker told about the incident to MA as follows: "My daughter was pyhsically attacked and beaten up by male guardians. the guards hit the heads of my daughter and her friends to the wall. And my daughter and her friends were not even taken to the hospital after the incident. so we have no assault report. As if all these were not enough already, the prison management backed the attacker guardians. What happens is that my daughter and her friends were in the yard and they were forced to leave the yard an hour earlier. As they objected to this application, the guards hit their arms and their arms got all bruises. There are cameras to document this fact and my daughter also goes to the prison management, but the management did not pay regard to what she told and they actually accused her."
